Halloween Pictures

As promised, I have pictures for Halloween...

Mommy and Rae. No, I'm not dressed up. I don't really like Halloween, Remember?? :)

Doesn't she make an adorable old lady?

We also put her in a Hunny Bucket costume just for fun!

She gave us a good laugh! :)

Daddy and Rae!

Baby Rae and her cousin Jackson. He is also an old man. Kristen and Nathan made him an awesome baby walker! :)

Cute little Jackson as an old man! :)

I hope you enjoyed! It's fun dressing her up!

Halloween: A chance to make your kids look hysterical!

I this video is so mean and funny. My favorite are the last two kids! :) Enjoy!

Halloween is coming up. Honestly, I have always kinda hated - maybe hated is too strong of a word - disliked Halloween. I think it's mainly because my mother never liked it, so it rubbed off on me, I don't know. It's just not my favorite.

However, ever since I became a mom I have kinda enjoyed it because I get to dress up Rae...in whatever I want. Well, for now!

Last year, she was Elphaba:

Here she is with my beautiful Seester! She was so tiny then, and so oblivious.
I thought she made a very cute witch! :)

Steven was the Tin man and I was Glenda the Good! (This is a horrible picture of me, but the only one documented, unfortunately :p)

What's funny is that Rae actually is wearing a dog costume! haha. Steven and I were in Wal-mart one day, and I was like, Oh look baby costumes. Side note: Baby costumes are actually really hard to find. It wasn't til later that we noticed they were dog costumes. We felt stupid. But, hey, I added a few finishing touches, and you couldn't tell the difference. :)

This year, we have decided to make Rae an old lady. At, first we were thinking Yoda, which we thought would be perfect, especially since she is still bald! :) Unfortunately we couldn't afford the what it would cost to make a Yoda. So, we settled with an old lady.

Steven and I set off to DI to find any items we could to make a perfect old lady. Here is what we found:

We spray painted a golf club for cane (don't worry all you golf lovers, it was just a plastic toy club), found glasses, clothes, jewelry and an old lady's purse. We also got some yarn and made a wig. All for under $15.00! We think she will make the cutest old lady! :) What is also adorable is that her cousin will be an old man...pictures to come!

Here is a blast from the past. My mom did like Halloween, but she was a good sport. She would always make our costumes. One year we were the Flintstones. Aren't we just adorable? My mom actually put real bones in our hair!

The Big Diaper Debate

(How True?!)

My husband and I are pretty good about taking turns changing diapers. Especially when it comes to a poopy diaper!

We usually don't count the pee diapers in our tally, but we definitely keep track of who changes the poopy diaper and whose turn is next!

However, if I had it MY way, I say: I'm at home all day with her, so I have changed her diaper 10x more than him, and he couldn't possibly catch up. Therefore, when he is home, he gets ALL the diapers! :P
(I'm really not THAT mean, but I think it's a good theory)

HE, however, agrees with his brother who says: I don't have the option of being at home to change her diaper, so diapers only count against me IF we are both home!

My Rebuttal: Since I currently don't have a job, I don't have the option of going anywhere to make someone else do it, so it counts!

His Rebuttal: That doesn't make sense! :)

So, we are in this ongoing debate...

and I need YOUR help to solve it! :)

How do you and your spouse decide who changes the diaper when? Or if you don't have kids yet, what would you do? How would it be if you had it YOUR way? Who makes more sense, me or my husband (honestly)? :)PLEASE COMMENT!

Disclaimer: In case my tone was misleading, this is meant to be fun haha:)
