A Paddle Boat

Place#14: Woodbridge, VA. Lake Ridge Marina: Paddle Boating

I have never been paddle boating, but have always wanted to try it ou. While we were in VA Steven and I went on a day date, and he surprised me with paddle boating. It was really fun! We chased some ducks, which was fun until we got too close and Steven kept charging them! Ducks can be evil!!! We also saw some turtles. It was a workout at times. It was fun, and I recommend it!

It was a beautiful day. The weather was great!

The ducks coming to kill us.

Turtles. I love turtles.

Proud to be an American

Place #13: Marine Museum

On our last day in Virginia we went to the Marine Museum. It was very interesting, and there is so much to see! We were there for a couple of hours, and we still didn't get to everything! I'd like to go back and spend some more time there. It is very fun! It makes me proud to be an American and thankful for all the people who have served and continue to serve our country!
My Marine.

This picture is funny because Steven isn't ready. Ha ha.

Washington D.C.

Place #11 and #12: Washington DC and The White House.

Okay, so I never said these adventures had to be in chronological order. These next few happened while we were in VA in May, but I couldn't find the pictures. I just found them!

The first or second day we were there we went to DC. Now, I could probably count all of these as one adventure, but I thought the White House deserved it's own place because I've always wanted to see it. Everything else we saw I'm combining into one. We didn't see the major monuments this time because we saw all those during Thanksgiving when we went to his parents.
Riding the subway into DC

The longest escalator EVER!

Did you know that DC had a zoo? I didn't. It was a pretty good one too!

 A Lion.
The White House!

My wonderful Family!

As we were walking back to the subway, we saw two people dancing on the side of a really tall building. It was cool. We think they were filming something.

We also met up with Jennifer and Jannette in DC and went to dinner with them later! I love these guys!!:)

RASCAL FLATTS!!

Place #10: Rascal Flatts

I have been waiting to see Rascal Flatts in concert for like...YEARS! I have had and almost had tickets to see them at least 3 times and something happened to prevent it! Once I heard they were coming to the Woodlands Pavillion, I was there! Steven and I woke up that morning with really bad earaches. We ended up going to the doctor, but we still stuck out the concert. No WAY I was missing them again!!! Random side note: I did see them at the rodeo in 2011, but I wanted to see a full on concert! Steven has never seen them, so he was excited!
 Waiting for it to start

Eden's Edge: One of the openning acts. They were good.
Thompson Square: another openning act. They actually surprised me. I really liked them. They were my favorite openning act. They had so much energy!
Little Big Town. Very good as well.

Steven eating a sour frozen lemonade.

AND RASCAL FLATTS!!

They were very good. The only thing I would change is that they only played for an 1hr and 5 min. What's up with that!? They should have at least played for 2 hours! But they were good!
