One Summer a long time ago

Place #9: The Country Place RV Park

I am so excited about this place! We were on our way to a friend's party, in Cut-N-Shoot, and I knew that my family had stayed at a campground somewhere around there for a whole summer when I was little. I called my dad and asked him if he knew what the camp ground was called and where it was. He said it was an RV park and it was at a light on 105E. Just as he said that we passed it! I read my dad the name and he said that was it!!!

So, we drove down there and had to sneak in behind someone because there was a gate. This RV park was my home for 2 months after we moved to Texas while we were looking for a place to live. It was one of the most memorable and fun summers of my life. We fished, we ran around, we watched the Brady Bunch! It was just fun. We hardly had chores because we were living in a small camper, but it was fun. I took some pictures and took Steven down memory lane with me. It was so cool to see it so many years later. I believe I was 9.

These pictures probably look like nothing to you, but it was my home for 2 months. It looked so much smaller then when I was there!

It made me super excited to see this place!!

We played everyday on these 2 bridges. We often fished on them with a stick, string, and a piece of corn.

Where this white house stands is where our campsite was. OR it was right behind it. I can't remember if this building was there.

We always played at these to little cabins because they were empty when we were there.

This was the pond on the other side. We often caught tadpoles or watched them at this pond.

It was great to show Steven a part of my past!

World Market

Place #8: World Market

I have always seen this store in The Woodlands, but have never stopped. When I met Steven, he said that he had been in there and it was a pretty cool store with interesting items! We added it to our list!

It was very interesting, and we bought some foods to try! They were delish!

Masquerade

Biggest Tootsie Roll Ever!

This was a lime cream soda drink. It was rather tasty.

We also got some Red Velvet pancakes. Oh My Goodness, they were so good!

Seven!

Place #7: Blue Bell Factory
Recently, we had the chance to visit Brenham, and neither of us have ever been to the Blue Bell Factory. I have always wanted to go, so we did! It was actually very interesting and I was very intirgued. I learned a lot.
-July is the month of Blue Bell!
-Every July Bluebell comes out with a new flavor.
-Ice creams are seasonal. They only have like 11 flavors that are constant, the others are rotated!
-This July's flavor is Christmas Cookiees in July.
-They only make 6 flavors (I think it was 6) a day because it takes 3 hours to clean out the machines! But they make a lot of it!
-The employees get as much Blue Bell as they want! They have a freezer in their lounge that is always stocked with ice cream!!!
"We eat all we can and we sell the rest"

"Have yourself a Blue Bell country day."

Place #5 and #6

Place #6: The Chocolate Bar

Mauren told me about this place, and it sounded like the perfect place to be!!! They make their own chocolate and cover just about everything in it! They also make their own ice cream. We went and had ice cream, and we bought an oreo and pretzel covered in chocolate. It was pretty good. It just really interesting all the things they cover and make out of chocolate!!

Chocolate Guitars

and CDs

A PMS pill :)

Place #5: Chicago Hotdog Shack

Even before we were married, we have been wanting to go to this place. We saw it one night driving home, and we were craving a hot dog. Once you have your mind set on a place you gotta go there. We pass it all the time, so we just had to go there! The place was kinda crappy looking and very dirty, but it was DELISH!

Yummy!!!

Another Randomness!

Place #4: 99 Cent Store

On 1960 there is a HUGE 99 cent store. Every time we pass by it, Steven says he really wants to go. SO we did. They had some pretty neat stuff in there. Somethings I wouldn't even think about buying. We got 30 packs of 100 calorie snacks for $5.00. You usually spend like 3 dollars on just 10. It was a steal! So we bought it AND they were fresh!!!

I think 99 cent stores are fun! :)

100 Randomnesses

Our 100 Randomnesses

Steven and I decided that in the first year of our marriage we would visit/do/see 100 different things together. (100 randomnesses) We thought it might be fun, and we could probably see and do more if we had a goal!! Anything/place counts as long as one of us has never been there before. We decided to count it if one of us has been there because maybe we really wanted to take our spouse to that place! We also decided to only make it valid if we had a picture!! So, here are the first 3 places we have been together.

We went to these places during our honeymoon on a cruise in April 2012!
And so it begins.....

Place #1: Roatan, Honduras

They had monkeys everywhere! So cute!
I want a monkey

We went zip lining through Roatan. It was amazing!

Steven bought a coconut. He likes them. I didn't think they were that good.
He had them in the D.R.

We tried Iguana. It tasted okay, but they kept the bones in it, so I wanted to barf!

Roatan was beautiful!

Place #2: Belize

My cheesy Husband!

We snorkeled at a private island. It was so pretty.

A string ray. (if you can see it)

Place #3: Cozumel, Mexico

My handsome man at the port.

We had real mex-mex. But I must say I like tex-mex better.

Downtown Cozumel.

3 down, 97 to go!!!
